About The Position

Job Title : SNF Registered Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse

Shift : 12-Hour Nights

Hours per Shift : 12 Hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years

License : Active Registered Nurse License

Certifications : CPR Certification required prior to first day

Must-Have : Knowledge and experience with IVs, PICC lines, and Mediports

Description :

Provide comprehensive nursing care to skilled patients in a facility setting.

Responsibilities include passing medications, performing wound care, and managing foley catheter care.

Administer PEG tube feedings and tracheostomy care as needed.

Manage IVs, PICC lines, and mediports.

Care for patients primarily receiving IV antibiotics or therapy to regain strength.

Work as part of an interdisciplinary team which may include physical therapy, occupational therapy, social services, and case management.

No self-scheduling is permitted; shifts are assigned based on facility needs.

Every other weekend availability is required.

No floating among different units is necessary.

Wear navy blue scrubs as part of the uniform policy for nursing staff.

Adhere to enhanced droplet precautions for COVID-19 as needed.

Follow all facility protocols regarding patient care and documentation.

Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.

Availability of on-site pharmacy services for medication management.

Collaborate with the clinical supervisory team for quality patient care.
