Warehouse Clerk Opportunity

Seeking a Warehouse Clerk in the Muscatine Area. This position involves providing excellent customer service by communicating with truckers and forklift drivers, handling freight, entering inventory transactions, and maintaining frequent communication with customers. Responsibilities include coordinating shipments to and from the warehouse to meet key customer delivery requirements, generating documents for customer shipments, receiving inbound freight, verifying contents, and reconciling product received with packing list information. Additionally, the role involves creating and applying labels to properly identify parts per customer specifications, communicating with customers and carriers about transporting orders and receipts, promptly addressing problems associated with outbound shipments and inbound receipts, entering inventory transactions into the warehouse management system, and communicating with warehouse operations to ensure proper scheduling of activities.

Essential Skills include customer service, customer support, operation management, shipping processes, and call center experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications include office experience.

Work Environment : This is an onsite role, operating Monday through Friday from 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm. The workplace is a family-oriented, small office environment where you will work closely with co-workers and regular customers, fostering strong relationships. Employees enjoy regular grill outs and other team activities.

Job Type & Location : This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Muscatine, Iowa. Pay range for this position is $19.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
