Inpatient Adult Psych Locum Job NY

Details of Assignment :

• Location : An hour South of Syracuse, NY
• Duration : December 2024 April 2024
• Schedule : Monday- Friday
• Shift : 8-hour day (8a-5p / 9a-6p)
• Call : None
• Patient volume : 10-24 (volume split between physicians) Psych NP for support
• Scope : Adult only, average length of stay is 3-5 days (can go up to 10 if longer will transfer to a state facility)
• EMR : Meditech
• Hospital : 24-bed Behavioral Health department
• Group / support : 1-2 other Psychiatry physicians, + Psychiatry NP + additional Hospital support staff + Psychologist + 3 counselor s + 1 PMR
• Requirements : Board Certified or truly Board Eligible with NY license
• Travel lodging and Malpractice covered
