Associate Creative Director
Responsibilities :
- Contribute to the creative strategy, general direction of the brand voice and overall copy
- Collaborate with creative team members to determine the conceptual and copy direction of branding, marketing, and advertising initiatives
- Drive alignment around design decisions by soliciting, synthesizing and managing design feedback from multiple directions
- Hands-on copy writing and creative execution - from concepting through production to delivery - for marketing campaigns across multiple channels and customer touch-points including product packaging, digital marketing (email, web banners, social media, digital experiences, social assets, etc.), retail displays, internal sales communication, video content, etc
- Drive alignment by soliciting, synthesizing and managing feedback from multiple directions
- Ensure that content and communications maintain brand consistency
- Work with other internal teams to develop on-strategy branding and messaging
- Work with strategic planners to develop product marketing communication
- Ideate and execute creative copywriting solutions
- Translate creative direction and copy points from creative briefs into engaging and effective copy concepts
Required Skills :
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with English / Journalism focusMinimum 8+ years of experience in an advertising or in-house creative role, both print and digital marketing / advertising experience, with emphasis in CPG brandingMastery of written communication, both short- and long-formProven creative ability and ability to present and sell creative ideasStrategic thinker with the ability to solve problems and exceptional ability to understand, communicate, and develop creative solutions that address specific business / marketing objectivesA solid understanding of marketing and advertising principlesStrong digital portfolio demonstrating strategic and creative strengthAccuracy and attention to detailMust be a team player, able to work within budgets and tight deadlines on multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentAn understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environmentAbility to thrive in a collaborative team environmentPeople management experienceBonus Skills :
FDA familiarityWorking with global brandsCompensation : $ 150,000 - $175,000 annually
This role will be onsite in Van Nuys, CA 3 days a week.
