We are looking for a Leasing Agent to join our team in the Eatontown, New Jersey area. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the leasing process, supporting tenants, and maintaining residential properties. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle administrative tasks effectively.

Responsibilities :

• Engage with prospective tenants to explain lease terms and guide them through the application process.
• Conduct property tours and follow up on rental inquiries to secure leases.
• Prepare and manage leasing documents in compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with the property superintendent on move-in and move-out inspections.
• Utilize Yardi software to process leases, renewals, transfers, and roommate changes.
• Address tenant inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain positive relationships.
• Oversee property inspections, ensuring compliance with safety standards and coordinating necessary repairs.
• Work with subcontractors and housing assistance programs, including Section 8.
• Partner with the Legal department to address tenant disputes and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Process invoices related to property operations and track leasing performance metrics.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in leasing or property management.
• Proficiency in Yardi software is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to build tenant relationships.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and rental assistance programs like Section 8.
• Ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently and work independently or as part of a team.
• Experience in compliance-related tasks and documentation.
• Knowledge of property inspections and basic maintenance coordination.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
