Job descriptionMonitor and interpret telemetry data including EKGs and heart rhythms. Provide direct and individualized nursing care based on standards of care. Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to adjust treatment plans. Educate patients and families on cardiac monitoring and recovery. Participate in committees, surveys, and improvement initiatives. Maintain professionalism and uphold the Texas Nurse Practice Act Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing (Diploma or ADN; BSN preferred). Active RN license (TX or Compact State). Certifications : BLS required ACLS required prior to completion of orientation NIH Stroke Scale required prior to completion of orientation Skills & Attributes : Strong ability to interpret complex telemetry data Professionalism in demeanor and communication
