Description :
The Production technician will assemble the company’s products, quality check them, and pack them according to specifications.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds the company’s products to those specifications.
- Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Maintains logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine / equipment maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
- Checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor.
- Maintains production logs, inventories, documentation, and reports, including those outlining procedures, batch records, inventory, productivity, changeover, and progress.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements :
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as necessary to complete logs or records.Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics and basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.Detail-oriented and consistent.Works well as a productive member of a team.Education and Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent required.Two (2) years of related experiencePhysical Requirements :
Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks.Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at a time.Must have manual dexterity to assemble products or machines as directed.Must have excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.Must wear required PPE.
