Job Description

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Avon, IN 46123. This is a 3+ month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location : Avon, IN 46123.

Duration : 3 months Contract (Possibilities of extension)

Pay rate : $20-23 / hr. On W2 / Pay Rate is based on experience

Schedule : 3×12 M–F (8 am–8 pm) / Weekend rotation shifts are 8 hrs. (9 am–4 pm) with adjusted weekly scheduling.

Job Responsibilities :

• Room patients by verifying identity, reviewing medical history, updating charts, and preparing them for provider evaluations.
• Obtain and document accurate vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, oxygen saturation, height, and weight.
• Assist providers with routine clinical tasks as needed to maintain smooth workflow.
• Call patients with test results, follow-up instructions, and provider-directed communication while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Maintain exam room cleanliness, restock supplies, and ensure equipment is prepared for patient use.
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Support general clinic operations and contribute to a positive patient experience.
