Location : New Hudson, MI
Schedule : Day Shift Flexible hours between 7 : 00 AM 4 : 00 PM or 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM
Contract : 12-month assignment with potential for extension or permanent hire
Compensation : $21 / hour with optional benefits and paid time off
About the Role
Join a small, collaborative team where your work keeps operations running smoothly. As the Shipping & Receiving Coordinator, youll oversee all inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring materials and products move efficiently through the facility. Youll work closely with purchasing, project teams, and management to maintain accuracy, organization, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and track all inbound and outbound shipments.
Coordinate shipping and receiving activities with internal teams, including purchasing, project management, and leadership.
Load and unload small packages and metal parts safely and efficiently.
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification may be required).
Prepare shipping documentation and maintain accurate records.
Package and process shipments for delivery.
Deburr and handle small metal parts.
Assist with the water jet machine as needed (tools provided).
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping / receiving area.
Collaborate closely with a small, supportive team, including the inventory management specialist.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
U.S. Citizenship or Green Card (required for ITAR / EAR compliance).
Previous shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred.
Forklift operation experience or willingness to become certified.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for most of the workday.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Flexibility to work occasional weekends or overtime as needed.
Work Environment
Monday through Friday, standard day shift.
Flexible start times : 7 : 00 AM 4 : 00 PM or 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM.
Overtime may be required during high-demand periods.
