Registered Nurse Clinical Manager
Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia is a professional medical organization committed to the healing mission of Medicine. CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia area. We are currently hiring for a full-time Clinical Manager to work at our East Norriton, PA office. Please note that this position requires traveling to our Blue Bell, Collegeville and Norristown, PA offices.
Please note this role is entitled to a $500 sign-on bonus.
LOCATION IN ORGANIZATION : The position is located in the Clinical Department of the CCP clinic and reports directly to Practice Administrator for all matters, including job duties, performance evaluations, approval of leave, and other assignments as deemed necessary for benefit of CCP.
NATURE OF DUTIES : The Licensed Practical Nurse / Registered Nurse Clinical Manager is responsible for direct supervision of the clinical team members in each clinic to provide efficient, high quality patient care in accordance with the CCP Mission Statement.
SPECIFIC DUTIES :
- Ability to effectively lead teams of medical assistant staff, ensuring mutual respect, positive / professional communication, accountability, employee engagement, mentoring and counseling as indicated.
- Fosters leadership and respect from staff and physicians by adherence to the Performance and Behavior Expectations in the Employee Handbook.
- Effectively communicates with providers and other team leaders any issues, concerns or obstacles regarding patient care, patient flow and clinic volume.
- Actively promote team member participation in sustaining clinical and corporate Patient Satisfaction goals.
- Promote nursing team member adherence in CMS Quality Initiatives / MIPS Program.
- Work with clinic and corporate departments for constant process improvement to identify opportunities to eliminate non-value-added processes, streamline workflows and improve efficiencies in the nursing department.
- Work closely with the site supervisor to coordinate the patient visits and / or tests throughout the clinic and balance the specific needs of the patients and providers.
- Communicate with diagnostic staff regarding current status and changes of diagnostic schedule to assist the clinic flow and to facilitate provider coverage.
- Ensure clinical team member compliance with accurate, complete and real-time documentation in the patients' medical record.
- Develop clinical team member staffing schedule to meet the clinical needs of the practice for efficient workflow.
- Assist Practice Administrator to recruit, identify, interview, and hire the most qualified and professional clinical team candidates for the clinic.
- Train, educate, and document clinical team member competence to ensure quality patient care.
- Conduct individual clinical team member coaching plans / annual evaluations annually and recommend pay increases as indicated.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date personnel files and document clinical team member performance counseling sessions, disciplinary actions, and all performance records; ensure Human Resources department receives copies of appropriate documentation and consult with Human Resources as indicated.
- Provide basic HR support to all clinical employees, including employee relations, payroll, benefits, etc.
- Monitor the required professional licenses and certifications of nursing team members and ensure that all are kept current.
- Conduct routine clinical department meetings and participate in other clinic or corporate committee meetings as needed.
- Participate in fiscal responsibility discussions with Practice Administrator and other department leaders.
- Assist in direct patient care during planned or unexpected clinical team member absences.

Demonstrates acceptable ability to interact with physicians, staff ("internal customers") and "external customers" (patients, family members, insurance companies, home health etc.) on a professional level at all times. Exhibits good communication skills with physicians, patients, team leaders, and co-workers at all times.Exhibits, whenever possible, a harmonious relationship with other CCP employees in order to accomplish the duties and responsibilities of the position. While perfect harmonious relationships with all employees is sometimes not achievable, not more than an occasional complaint should be received by the practice administrator about the incumbent of this position.The employee shall work and relate cooperatively with all other employees (internal customers) of CCP to assure optimum care for the patients of CCP and to achieve standards of care set forth by the CCP medical staff.Adheres to the CCP Compliance Plan as it pertains to the above specific job duties. Uses best efforts to maintain compliance by following the CCP Corporate Compliance Plan, attending CCP compliance education, following medical documentation guidelines, and communicating concerns regarding compliance issues.Performs accurate and complete documentation in the patient's medical record, when applicable. This includes documentation in both the paper record and the electronic medical record (EMR).Work with the electronic medical record (EMR) staff to maintain quality and work towards future EMR development.Maintains patient confidentiality according to the HIPAA standards of privacy and security.QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION :

If you are hired, and assuming your employment is in good standing, you will receive the sign-on bonus. The bonus will be paid to you no later than 30 days following your start date.
