Role Overview

The Seasonal Seamstress will support our team by assisting with alterations, fittings, and gown preparation. This role requires strong sewing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining our high standards of craftsmanship and client care.

Key Responsibilities

Perform bridal and formalwear alterations, including hems, bustles, taking in / letting out, and hand-finishing.

Assist with fittings and provide professional, client-focused support.

Prepare gowns for appointments and final delivery.

Maintain organization of sewing projects and timelines.

Work closely with the team to ensure gowns are completed to the highest standard.

Compensation & Details

Seasonal position (peak wedding season).

Flexible hours, Monday–Saturday.

Potential to transition into a permanent role.

Requirements

2+ years of sewing experience (bridal or formalwear strongly preferred).

Strong knowledge of garment construction and alterations.

High attention to detail and precision in sewing.

Ability to work efficiently under seasonal deadlines.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
