Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A middle school in Aurora, IL is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support students in a highly structured Emotional Support Program. This contract position runs through the current school year and is suited for educators experienced in working with students exhibiting emotional and behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities :

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with emotional and behavioral difficulties.
• Manage a caseload within the Emotional Support Program, providing a supportive and structured learning environment.
• Assist students with toileting needs as necessary.
• Collaborate with school staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions.
• Maintain clear communication with parents and multidisciplinary teams.
