Position : Emergency Medicine Physician

Start Date : ASAP

End Date : Ongoing

Position Description

Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals as an Emergency Medicine Physician near Cadott, WI, on a locum tenens basis. We are currently seeking a qualified physician to fill a long-term vacancy and provide high-quality emergency care to our patients.

Emergency Department Features

  • Start Date : ASAP
  • End Date : Ongoing
  • Volume : Estimated 14,000 visits per year
  • ED Beds : 16
  • Physician Coverage : 24 hours per shift
  • Patients Per Shift : 10-20

Position Details

    • 6 : 30am - 6 : 00pm

  • 6 : 00pm - 6 : 30am
  • APC Coverage : 10 : 00am - 10 : 00pm
  • Patient Acuity :

    • 15% Resuscitation / Emergent

  • 50% Urgent
  • 35% Semi-Urgent / Non-Urgent
  • Yearly Patient Volume : Estimated 14,000 visits
  • Percent of Admissions : 9.9% (year to date)
  • Percent of Transfers : 3.9% (year to date)
  • ER Provider Code Response : ED providers respond to inpatient codes
  • Board Certification : Eligible; ABEM not required

    • Requirements

    Qualified candidates must meet the following criteria :

  • Board Certified or Board Prepared in Emergency Medicine
  • ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certification required
  • Ability to provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility and availability to cover several shifts per month
