General Summary
The Solution Architect (SA) provides leadership and facilitation of the Solution Architecture Process. The SA will be working with Enterprise Architects, Technical Domain Owners, and Implementation Teams to help drive the design and implementation. This role will lead the creation of (or completion) a Target Architecture Documents, Reusable Solution Patterns, technical tradeoff analysis, implementation plans for the efficient transformation of the current application portfolio, and architecture status and reviews as necessary.
This individual will focus on Microsoft Power Platform Architecture, Agentic AI Solutions Integration Architecture, Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Architectures focused on other third party and in-house Integration Business Process Management and Services toolsets and methodologies.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of (or completion) of a Target Architecture Documents, Reusable Solution Patterns, technical tradeoff analysis, and architecture status and reviews as necessary
- Collaborate with Project Managers and technical lead to provision estimates, develop overall implementation solution plan
- Serve as architecture lead and interface and coordinate tasks with internal and external technical resources as required
- Mentor Lead Implementers (Tech Leads, Application Architects, Infrastructure Architects) in good architecture practices
- Define, communicate and document the patterns, standards and technologies for the enterprise Integration Architecture
- Understand and communicate how the Integration Architecture interacts, supports and integrates with other technologies and information systems
- Provide broad understanding of platform and application integrations across all technologies
- Lead establishment of systems development protocols and / or selection of systems management approaches involving major company investments
- Guide development teams through the project lifecycle
- Consult with infrastructure development project teams to fit infrastructure to integration architecture models
- Ensure projects maintain an enterprise-wide view
- Collaborate in the development of standards for web-based applications and middleware
- Work with project teams across the organization to develop and apply integration standards
- Communicate with users regularly to keep them informed of current technologies and system evolution plans
- Support Integration Architecture frameworks and align with Security Architecture frameworks
- Support Enterprise Architecture frameworks
- Support performance modeling
- Interoperate with organization change management
- Provide solution architecture for multi-tiered applications into a high-availability environment
- Support all phases of established SDLC methodology

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Equivalent years of experience are determined as one year of technical experience for every year of college requested.
Master’s Degree preferred
