The Underground Construction Coordinator will play a critical leadership role in the successful planning, execution, and oversight of underground construction projects within the SUFCO Mine. This position requires a proactive, results-oriented individual with a strong background in construction management, particularly in industrial or mining settings. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the day-to-day management of underground construction activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Develop and implement detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules in collaboration with internal teams and external contractors.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts with engineering, operations, maintenance, health and safety, and third-party vendors.
• Ensure strict adherence to MSHA regulations, safety protocols, and company policies throughout all construction activities.
• Administer procurement processes, vendor negotiations, and contract management for construction-related services and supplies.
• Monitor project performance through site inspections, progress reporting, and risk assessments.
• Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
• Provide clear, timely, and accurate reports to senior leadership on project status, costs, and key milestones.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety excellence, and collaboration among construction crews and contractors.
