Compensation : $60hour | 37.5 hours / week

Job Goal :
To provide developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with Early Learning Standards and developmental frameworks, supporting students in gross and fine motor skills, social-emotional development, and creative expression. Instruction will integrate visual arts, music, movement, and drama to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that supports kindergarten readiness. Individualized instruction and small student-to-teacher ratios are maintained to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s and / or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education
Hold or be eligible for educator licensure / certification in Early Childhood Special Education
Strong classroom management, organization, planning, and instructional delivery skills
Proficient in using differentiated instruction and engaging teaching methods
Demonstrated ability to build strong, supportive relationships with students and families
A record of effective leadership, professional conduct, reliability, and collaboration
Essential Responsibilities :
Design and implement daily and unit lesson plans focused on gross motor, fine motor, social-emotional learning, and integrated arts
Develop a scope and sequence aligned with program goals and standards, incorporating technology where appropriate
Use assessments to monitor and measure student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
Prepare thoughtful substitute teacher plans that align with program standards and instructional goals
Establish a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and development
Maintain accurate documentation of student academic and behavioral progress
Collect, analyze, and report data related to instructional domains and student growth
Communicate clearly and appropriately with students, families, and colleagues
Adhere to school and district policies and procedures while maintaining a high standard of professionalism
Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and collaborative planning as required
Engage in continuous professional growth and reflection
Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
