Quality Assurance Technician

Job Summary :
Empirical Systems Aerospace, Inc. is seeking a full-time Quality Technician for our Quality Team to support the quality requirements of incoming and outgoing material and products.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Perform inspections of materials, purchased parts, and internally made parts.
- Document all inspections results using visual, dimensional methods and standards on company documentation forms.
- Review specifications and drawings to understand the product requirements.
- Reject incoming materials that fail to meet quality expectations and report the issue to the concerned department.
- Communicate and help resolve quality-related issues while adhering to project deadlines.
- Assist in developing inspection standards and processes.
- Assist with the coordination of calibrated equipment.
- Recommend improvement measures to processes to ensure quality control standards are met.
- Generate Nonconformance Reports or Corrective Actions when required.
- Assist with updates to the Quality Management System and participate in internal and external audits.
- Work with multiple departments to support production and increase awareness of quality requirements.
Basic Qualifications / Requirements :
US CitizenProficiency and experience with measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicatorsTechnical hands-on capability with attention to detail.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings3+ years of experienceDesired Skills / Experience :
ISO 9001 / AS 9100DJ-STD-001 and / or WHMA / IPC-A-620Machining experienceExperience with composites fabricationExperience with aircraft avionicsTechnical Writing : Build guides, schematics, wiring diagrams, reporting / reviewing, etc.Experience with parts and inventory managementBenefits and Perks
