What you'll do :

• Own and ship a meaningful project, end-to-end.We believe strongly in ownership at The Trade Desk, and we are committed to you having something substantial to show for your time here that will make a positive impact for the team
• Receiveone-on-one mentorshipfrom an experienced software engineer
• Collaborate with a globally connected teamof engineers, interns & other teams and departments in cities across the world
• Work with new technologiesacross a wide spectrum of computer science, including : distributed systems,petabyte-scale data processing,machine learning / AI, andUI / UX

You might be a great fit for a Software Engineer internship at The Trade Desk if you :

• Arefluent in one or more modern object-oriented programming languages
• Have afirm grasp on basicdata structuresandalgorithmic techniques
• Are aquick and self-directed learner. We provide close support and mentorship, but you will have ownership over the design, plan, and implementation of what you build.
• Are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program
• Are expected tograduate between Autumn 2026 and Summer 2027
• You need to be available working 3 days in person in the office(Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is

$46—$62 USD
