Job Description
- Develop optimal process conditions using decoupled molding techniques for new product launches.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to molding processes, materials, or equipment to ensure smooth operations.
- Evaluate tooling for potential improvements in quality and efficiency, providing recommendations to optimize molding processes, setups, and overall manufacturing.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret process data to enhance process capability and performance.
- Maintain and update mold process sheets to ensure they reflect the most accurate process settings.
- Train and support process technicians in the application of scientific molding principles.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including cost reduction efforts and efficiency enhancements.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to analyze process capabilities and implement process improvements.
- Program and fine-tune robots and peripheral equipment to support automated processes.
Qualifications
Qualifications :
Over 5 years of practical, hands-on experience in injection molding.Strong working knowledge of injection molding processes and ancillary equipment.Comprehensive understanding of various thermoplastic materials and their properties.Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail and precision.What will put you ahead?
RJG Master Molder I / II certification.Experience mentoring and developing junior members of the molding process development team.Willingness to work occasional overtime and weekends to meet project or production demands.Additional Information
