About On Demand Counseling : On Demand Counseling is committed to providing comprehensive mental health and addiction treatment to individuals and families in Northeast Ohio. Our mission is to remove barriers to care and offer compassionate, effective support through a wide range of services. This position is based at our Boardman location.

Position Summary :

As a Counselor at On Demand Counseling, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients through assessments, counseling, and case management. We offer flexible scheduling with the option of working full-time or part-time, allowing you to set your own hours. In this position, you will advocate for clients and utilize your clinical expertise to make a meaningful impact on their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities :

• Client Counseling & Case Management : Provide individual counseling, conduct assessments, and develop tailored treatment plans aligned with clients' needs and recovery goals.
• Crisis Intervention : Effectively manage crisis situations, using de-escalation techniques and professional standards to support clients in need.
• Referral Coordination : Facilitate client referrals to appropriate mental health resources or higher levels of care, connecting them to vital community services.
• Client Advocacy : Serve as an advocate for clients in collaboration with courts, schools, treatment centers, and other stakeholders to coordinate care and monitor progress.
• Documentation & Reporting : Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including assessments, progress notes, and treatment summaries, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with program standards.
