What you’ll do

Gain hands-on experience with advanced 3D printing technologies and materials, contributing to product formulation for Loctite 3D printing and properties testing in a lab environment

• Collaborate with experienced professionals to deepen your understanding of material properties and performance
• Support Application Engineering leads on technology development projects focused on innovation in 3D printing materials
• Conduct experiments and technical procedures to assist in the development of new products and testing methods
• Record, organize, and analyze experimental data, preparing project updates and presentations to share insights with the team
• Contribute to the improvement of lab workflows and documentation practices to support product development efficiency

What makes you a good fit

A rising junior or rising senior graduating in 2027 or 2028 or master’s / graduate student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Plastics Engineering

Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques and safety protocols to ensure proper handling of materials and equipment in a lab environment

Strong communication skills for presenting technical data, collaborating with team members, and effectively sharing findings

Attention to detail and the ability to document experiments and results accurately, ensuring data integrity and clarity for future analysis

This internship is eligible for a housing stipend or relocation support.

Henkel’s Summer 2026 internship program starts on May 27th, 2026, and runs through mid-August.

Recruitment for our 2026 internships starts in late August 2025 and runs through early March 2026 or until all our positions are filled.

The salary for this role is $25-$27 / hour. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
