Position : Group Fitness Instructor

Classification : Part time

Reports To : Fitness and Wellness Manager

About Us :

Lenawee Christian Ministries provides a Christ-centered education, spiritual development, and wellness services to the Lenawee County community, centered around Jesus Christ.

Position Summary :

This person is responsible for teaching safe, effective exercise to clients in a group setting.

Key Responsibilities :

Plan and lead safe, effective, and enjoyable fitness classes (strength training, HIIT, circuit, cardio).
Demonstrate proper exercise technique and form.
Motivate and Inspire participants.
Create a welcoming, encouraging atmosphere that builds community and confidence.
Current Group Fitness certification.
CPR / AED certified

Qualifications :

Christian Faith :

Profess and demonstrate a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Adherence to Christian principles and values in both personal and professional life.

Educational Background / Experience :

Group Exercise / Aerobic Instructor Certification (from nationally recognized certifying organization i.e., ACE, AFAA, NCSA)

CPR Certification

Ability to deal with conflict in a healthy and God honoring way

Prior experience recommended

Positive, upbeat attitude
