Underwriter

A company is looking for an Underwriter to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, solicit, and underwrite renewal Specialty accounts to drive profitable growth

Manage agency relationships and facilitate negotiation to improve yield and retention ratios

Implement territory business plans and provide training to agents on product knowledge

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

3+ years of Underwriting experience

3+ years of experience driving profitable agency relationships

Proficiency in underwriting core competencies and may specialize in 1-2 areas

Ability to adapt to change and mentor less experienced underwriters
