Senior Manager Of Category Management

The Samsung Direct-to-Consumer eCommerce organization is seeking a Senior Manager of Category Management to lead the Cooking and Dishwashing Home Appliance Categories. This role will have P&L responsibility, driving strategies, plans, and execution to deliver daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual targets.

Role and Responsibilities

• Co-lead the eCommerce strategy, business planning, analytics, and website experience for the Digital Appliance team
• Lead and manage the bottoms-up planning and forecasting based on category promotional and marketing plans
• Collaborate with category management, performance marketing, product, and finance teams for the Quarterly Commercial Deal (QCD) planning process and manage all program approvals from key internal stakeholders
• Own the tracking and maintenance of promotional spending forecast and maintain a monthly closing process based on actuals
• Responsible for monthly target planning process by consolidating category-level plans into target financial plan
• Manage current quarter weekly sellout performance management for all categories based on sellout performance trend. Maintain a high degree of accuracy on sellout forecasting achievement rate
• Manage revenue risk to target plan and actively lead gap closure initiatives by securing program approvals to generate incremental revenue
• Lead product launch planning and forecasting for flagship products with a high degree of accuracy to minimize stock outs and aging risk
• Lead highly functional and agile business planning and cross functional teams
• Perform promotional ROI analysis and develop monthly reporting with key insights and planning implications

Skills and Qualifications

The salary range for this role is expected to be between $170,000 and $210,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
