Summary : As a Civil Engineer in Training (EIT) at Kuna, you would be actively involved in the full lifecycle of civil and infrastructure projects across Alaska. You would work under licensed engineers and cross-disciplinary teams and help with preliminary engineering, survey and GIS support, utilities and stormwater system design, road and site layout, cost estimating, permitting, and construction oversight. Kunas civil / transportation group handles a wide variety of projectsfrom housing and schools to roads, bridges, harbors, and sanitation systemsgaining exposure to diverse design challenges and site conditions.

Working Conditions
Weather : Indoors - environmentally controlled; most work is done inside.
Noise level : Standard office atmosphere.
Environment : Office setting with standard office equipment.
Physical requirements : Occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 lbs; frequently sit, stand, walk, handle or feel, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk / hear, see, and carry weight / lift.
Travel : May travel to remote areas and use various transport modes as needed.
