Job Description : Safely packages product in either boxes or custom crates to withstand the rigors of domestic and international shipping. Builds custom crates for shipment of products Performs Quality control check of products prior to packaging Processes internal orders noting quantity and colors of product being shipped Submits and labels shipments Load and unloads trucks Reviews bill of lading to confirm receipt of the proper goods Required Skills and Abilities : High School diploma required or General Education Degree (GED). Ability to communicate effectively with other employees of the organization. Must have basic math skills. Must have basic computer skills. Must have basic carpentry skills. Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram form, etc. Ability to read and understand purchase orders and basic shop drawings. Must be able to identify and flaws and imperfections in felt and leather prior to producing finished good. Must be able to lift 50+ pounds. Ability to stand up to 100% of the time. Must be able to work in a team environment. Must be able to work overtime as needed for production needs. Must be safety oriented. Forklift experience preferred Who We Hire?
