Registered Nurse

These positions are located in a maximum security male correctional facility; this RFQ will result in multiple awards to multiple vendors; 6 : 00am-6 : 00pm and 6 : 00pm-6 : 00am is available, and days will vary; holidays may be required; overtime may be required; no cell phones are allowed in the facility; background checks must be provided.

Job description : RN's will be responsible for handling sick call, administering medications, tool control, triaging sick calls, insulin administration, screening and reporting, emergency room use, emergencies such as Narcan, physical force injuries, asthma rescue, employee accident / injury, sexual abuse / assault reporting, maintaining health records, and administrative responsibilities in regards to inmate death.
