Overview : \n\nThe Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN provides direct patient care within the scope of nursing practice and serves as a resource for patient and family education, as well as guidance for other nursing personnel\n

  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.\n
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.\n
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, promptly identifying and responding to changes in patient condition.\n
  • Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient status, diagnostic results, and response to treatment.\n
  • Educate patients and families on health management, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.\n
  • Ensure quality and continuity of care by adhering to facility policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.\n\nQualifications : \n\nTelemetry - EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING : \n\n1. Current and valid state RN License.\n\n2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.\n\n3. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.\n\n4. Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.\n\n5. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.\n\n6. Ventilator Management experience preferred.\n\n7. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred\n\nIntensive Care Unit (ICU) - EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING : \n\n1. Current and valid state RN License.\n\n2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.\n\n3. Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.\n\n4. Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.\n\n5. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.\n\n6. Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.\n\n7. Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.\n\n8. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.\n\nEmergency Services - EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING : \n\n1. Current and valid state RN License.\n2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.\n3. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.\n4. Current PALS certificate and / or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain current.\n5. Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.\n6. Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting preferred.\n7. Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.\n8. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.\n\nFacility Specific Requirements (facility may require items listed below) : \n\n1. In Paramedic Base Station ED : MICN within 12 months of hire and maintain current.\n2. EDAP certified facilities : Completion of emergency pediatric course 1 and 2 within 6 months of hire.\n3. Non-OB facilities : NRP certificate 90 days upon hire and maintain current.\n4. Trauma designated facilities : Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) required within 12 months of hire and maintain. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $35.35 to $53.58.
