As a substitute paraeducator, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special needs and promoting their academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide instructional support to individual students or small groups, helping them achieve their full potential.
• Assist the classroom teacher with management and supervision of the class, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
• Perform administrative tasks such as setting up equipment and preparing materials, enabling the smooth operation of the classroom.
• Supervise students during activities such as meals, outdoor recess, and field trips, providing a secure and engaging experience.
• Attend to the physical, emotional, and academic needs of students, fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
• Support students with special needs by following provisions specified in their IEPs / 504 Plans, ensuring tailored assistance.
• Perform other duties as directed by the classroom teacher and school administration, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
