Job description

Acara Solutions is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our client on a Full Time Direct Hire opportunity based out of Southeastern Mississippi.

Position Summary

We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive revenue growth, manage customer relationships, and expand market share. This role focuses on both new business development and existing account growth and retention within the assigned territory. The representative will sell portable site services and storage solutions , including sanitation and storage products, to construction, industrial, and commercial clients.

Services Sold

  • Portable Toilets & Restroom Solutions : Standard and ADA-compliant portable toilets, handwash stations, and sanitation units with short- or long-term rental options.
  • Temporary Storage Solutions : Storage containers for tools, equipment, and materials, with secure and weather-resistant options for worksites.
  • Site Support Services : Delivery, setup, relocation, maintenance, and cleaning of units, ensuring regulatory compliance and safety standards.
  • Consultative Support : Assessing client site needs, providing quotes and rental agreements, recommending solutions for multi-site or long-term projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage territory sales plan to meet revenue targets.
  • Identify upcoming projects and business opportunities within the territory.
  • Present proposals, negotiate rental contracts, and close sales.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage renewals, upsells, and assist with credit / collections.
  • Track construction activity and competitor pricing trends.
  • Represent the company at community and trade events.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and provide regular sales forecasts.
  • Required Skills / Qualifications :

  • 5 years minimum outside sales experience, preferably in equipment rental, construction, or industrial services .
  • Preferred Skills / Qualifications :

  • Proven track record of territory growth and customer retention .
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills .
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
