Sonographer (Permanent Role)

  • Location : Panama City, FL 32401
  • Shift : 10-hour Night / Evening
  • Job Type : Permanent
  • Guaranteed Hours : (40 hours / week)
  • Compensation : Based on experience (Negotiable)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sonographer to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced medical environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform high-quality ultrasound exams in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
  • Prepare patients for procedures and explain the imaging process
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to capture diagnostic images
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to evaluate findings
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
  • Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

    • Qualifications :

  • Education : Associate Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
  • Experience :

    • Preferably 2+ years of experience in ultrasound imaging

  • Will consider a qualified and motivated new graduate
  • Required Certifications :

    • Basic Life Support (BLS) Must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

  • Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) Must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
