Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Were partnering with a Virginia school program seeking an experienced Remote Speech-Language Pathologist to support students ages 522 , many of whom have diagnosed autism and communication needs. This role is ideal for an SLP who is skilled in functional communication, AAC, social language, and collaborative work with multidisciplinary teams.
About the Role
Schedule : 30 hours per week
Setting : Virtual, serving students in a specialized school environment
Population : Ages 522, diverse communication needs, ASD-focused caseload
Support Team : Works alongside special educators, behavior specialists, and related service providers
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct speech therapy in individual and small group settings
Address speech, language, pragmatic, and social communication goals
Support students with AAC devices, PECS, or other communication systems
Conduct evaluations and progress assessments ; write IEP goals and reports
Attend and participate in IEP meetings and team planning sessions
Collaborate with educational staff and families to generalize communication skills across environments
Qualifications
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Virginia SLP license (and CCC-SLP preferred)
Prior experience working with students on the autism spectrum
Comfortable delivering services via teletherapy platforms
Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
