Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure Principal Software Engineer

Building off our Cloud momentum, Oracle has formed a new organization - Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure. This team focuses on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. This is a net new line of business, constructed with an entrepreneurial spirit that promotes an energetic and creative environment. We are seeking hands-on a Principal Software Engineer who shares our passion and excitement of operating distributed systems at hyper scale using cloud native best practices. You will have part in the disruption of the health care industry and will help deliver better patient care. As a Software Engineer on our team, you'll be responsible and lead efforts in designing and building scalable, distributed, and resilient software components and services to support health care platform, applications, and our end users. We believe in ownership and expect you to think long term, mentor, and empower other engineers. As a tech lead you will optimally complete SDLC from architecture, development, testing, first class monitoring, to production.

Job Requirements :

• Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and development / engineering staff at all levels including the executive level.
• Solid analytical, planning, and interpersonal skills with an ability to handle challenging demands.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs and ability to establish / maintain high level of customer trust and confidence.
• Solid practical understanding of software development process; knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment.
• Strong skills to evaluate product performance metrics, as well as to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Experience leading technical design discussions and ability to summarize complex trade-offs and options in presentation and documentation.
• Ability to effectively represent engineering perspectives to partner organizations, product teams, and executive leadership.
• Aptitude to work across and engage individuals and teams located across multiple geographies and / or cultures.
• Balancing work as a lead individual contributor with providing direction and mentoring to others.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US : Hiring Range in USD from : $96,800 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business. 8. Paid time off : Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
