Responsibilities

In this role, you will :

• Develop Maintenance Preventive Maintenance (PM) Schedule and Procedures : Create and implement maintenance protocols to ensure all equipment and systems are properly maintained
• Project Management : Planning, coordinating, and supervising engineers and projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet specifications, timelines, and budgets.
• Resource Allocation : Managing resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Build and Maintain Effective and Productive Relationships with Union Leadership and Employees
• Manage Maintenance Supervisors : Leading and managing a team providing coaching, feedback and training, guidance, and performance evaluations
• Managing Budgets : Estimating costs and preparing budgets for maintenance and repair activities
• Scheduling Maintenance Tasks : Planning and overseeing maintenance schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Ensuring Compliance : Making sure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations and building codes
• Problem Solving : Identifying and resolving technical issues that arise during projects or maintenance activities.
• Maintaining Inventory : Ordering and managing an inventory of maintenance and project supplies and equipment

Lafayette Operations in Lafayette, IN is located approximately 60 miles from the state's capital, Indianapolis and is the home to Purdue University. Our Lafayette location has been continuously running in Lafayette community since 1938. We are an Aluminum Extrusions plant for Aerospace, Automotive, Industrial and Defense facility.
