Manager, Supply Chain Operations Strategy

We are seeking a supply chain professional with well-rounded business and analytical experience to join our team in a management consulting capacity. The ideal candidate will manage enVista's Operations Strategy projects, including organizing, executing, and coordinating necessary assignments. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for communications with the customer on assigned projects, development of consultants assigned to projects, adherence to project budget and scope as well as developing repeatable project plans that can be executed against future projects.

What you will do :
- Manage 1-2 projects of no greater than 20 weeks each at a time, with 1-3 consulting staff members per project
- Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of project to ensure project deliverables are accomplished within prescribed time frame and budget parameters
- Consult with clients and internal resources to define problems / opportunities and provide appropriate recommendations of possible solutions
- Prepares, maintains, and proactively manages the project communication plan to the stakeholders and keeps track of project communication materials
- Resolves project issues, mitigates risks, and manages scope change requests; ensures completion of project deliverables in a timely manner and escalates issues when necessary
- Interacts with project sponsors, stakeholders, and various project members to ensure that specified business needs are met
- Oversee and validate data analysis conducted by project team to ensure proper insights and recommendations were obtained from the analysis
- Develop and deliver presentations that effectively communicate findings and recommendations to the customer
- Perform DC Operational Assessments and Facility Optimization to evaluate and make recommendations to warehouse systems, processes, labor, and space
- Execute 3PL selection and consolidation deliverables such as request for proposals (RFPs), evaluation of vendor's RFP responses, cost comparison, etc.
- Cross train on other consulting service offerings such as network strategy, facility design, S&OP projects
- Complete and submit end-of-project reviews on all staff reporting to the Project Manager
- Coordinate project invoicing between client and Accounts Receivable
- Use a high degree of tact when interacting with clients and peers
- Deliver speeches and seminars to diverse audiences as assigned
- Develop and present internal company educational presentations
- Compose articles and white papers for publication
- Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned
What you will bring :
Education (preferred level) : Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field6+ years of professional industry experience preferredDistribution center operational experience required, and must be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of warehousing and supply chain fundamentalsAbility to identify barriers to productivity and optimize warehouse processes via LEAN process improvement, warehouse systems, facility design concepts, etc.Ability to justify recommended solutions including financial analysisAbility to exercise independent judgment and creative problem-solving techniquesOutstanding communication skills, both written and verbal with project team, customers, and vendors. Solid teamwork and interpersonal skillsStrong presentation skills including the ability to present and discuss findings and recommendations in a manner that establishes rapport and persuades the audienceStrong analytical abilities to turn mass data into project insights utilizing relational databases such as MS Access and SQLExcellent organizational skills and strong attention to detailValues diversity and exhibits a leadership style that empowers, coached, mentors, and fosters a team environmentAble to maintain confidentiality of client's intellectual propertyExpected Travel Time : About 25-50%What we offer :
