Position Overview

As aSales Team Memberat ColorBar, your role is more than just booking appointments. You are the driving force behind revenue, guest retention, and delivering an exceptional salon experience.

You will :

  • Create a memorable first impression when guests walk in
  • Maximize every guest interaction for sales and retention
  • Upsell & rebook to ensure repeat business
  • Help guests leave with the right home-care product recommendations
  • Keep our salon running smoothly and efficiently

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Upsell & cross-sell services during booking, check-in, and checkout
  • Confidently recommend retail products to every guest
  • Ensure guests pre-book their next appointment before they leave
  • Track & meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals
  • Take ownershipif something isnt working, identify and solve it

    • 2. Guest Experience & Retention

  • Deliver a polished, professional first impression at check-in
  • Give new guests a salon tour to introduce services & retail
  • Suggest service upgrades to enhance the visit
  • Follow up with non-rebooked guests to encourage future appointments
  • Encourage referrals & 5-star reviews as a daily priority
  • Proactively improve systems & guest experience

    • 3. Systems & Processes

  • Manage guest details in the salon CRM / booking software
  • Ensure all policies & consent forms are signed
  • Keep guest records accurate and updated
  • Utilize automated reminders & follow-ups to keep bookings solid
  • Maintain a clean, organized front desk & retail area
  • Identify and fix inefficiencies proactively

    • 4. Professionalism & Team Collaboration

  • Communicate guest needs & preferences to stylists
  • Stay educated on salon services, retail products & promotions
  • Use sales scripts & best practices to confidently recommend services
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, & performance reviews
  • Dont just bring ideasexecute them!

    Part time position (Saturdays are required).
