As a statewide nonprofit serving seniors, families and children in need of support, we take a whole-person approach to our organization and delivery of our services — because we believe we must find the strengths in people and build on these for lasting change to occur.

When you join our team as a Housekeeper with the Monroe Skilled Nursing and Rehab Campus at Wellspring, you’ll be part of a team of nurses, CNAs and senior support staff committed to helping seniors and families in Monroe. In this position, you'll be directly supporting your community in Monroe County to provide services to seniors. In this position, a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. Prior housekeeping / laundry experience is helpful, but not essential.

As a Housekeeper, you will :

• Follow and execute cleaning schedule abiding by Standard Precautions, hazardous waste handling and cleaning agent use policies and procedures
• Maintain assigned areas by completing the following tasks : cleaning toilets, sinks, mirrors, furnishings, fixtures, furniture, floors, walls, sills, closets and doors.
• Empty wastebaskets and replacing bags from all areas including : bathrooms, resident rooms, and common places
• Upkeep, clean and maintain general common areas, dining, office, and employee areas according to assignment schedule
• Assist with laundry duties (as needed)
• Indicates that this task is considered high risk for exposure to bio-hazardous materials. Standard Precautions must be followed in all job duties.
