Overview :

Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Medical Assistant for Physician Services-SMG Telehealth.

• All qualified candidates can receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus!

Position Status : Full Time

Position Location : This is a remote position. There will be no in-office work. The Medical Assistant duties will be completely electronic throughout the entire check-in to check-out process.

Standard Working Hours : Tuesday - Friday, 10am -6 : 30pm and Saturday 8am -1 : 00pm

Overview

Perform patient care related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluation, and as delegated by and under the direction / supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (NP / PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Perform administrative duties, as appropriate.
