ABOUT BALTIMORE COUNTRY CLUB
Baltimore Country Club was founded in 1898 and it was a success from the start, with 600 members enjoying its 150-acre facility less than five miles from downtown Baltimore. Just one year after opening, the Club gained immediate recognition in the golf world by hosting the fifth United States Open Championship. Today the Club is nearly 3,000 members strong with two campuses. It is widely recognized as one of the top 50 country clubs in the nation and top 100 in the world. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A BANQUET CAPTAIN
As a Banquet Captain, you will oversee the proper execution of service during banquet events, manage banquet operations across both Clubhouses, and ensure exceptional Member and Guest experiences. Additionally, focusing on maintaining the highest level of hospitality and service standards, supervise and train staff, and assist in inventory levels for food and beverage service.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must have a flexible schedule, working knowledge of food & beverage service, an understanding of culinary arts, ability to motivate staff to perform at an exceptional level, have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with members, guests, management and staff, knowledge of Banquet Events Orders (BEO's), F&B software and Microsoft Office, and be able to work varying shifts including weekends, holidays, and evenings. Candidates with a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management is strongly preferred. Private Club experience is a plus.
