Transmission Line Construction Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Transmission Line Construction Manager to oversee the success of our projects from a field level. As the quarterback of the project, you will serve as the bridge between the field and the Project Manager, ensuring the smooth operation and completion of transmission line construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Read and understand contract documents and the contractor's safety plan.
- Conduct and lead kickoff meetings to set job expectations.
- Host site-specific orientations and ensure safety plans are well understood.
- Gather and report accurate data independently, without relying on contractors.
- Maintain documentation and include it in weekly reports.
- Ensure quality assurance and quality control (QA / QC) processes are followed.
- Engage with contractors to build positive working relationships.
- Monitor safety and ensure project specifications and drawings are adhered to.
- Track project progress and approve construction status updates.
- Oversee environmental constraints before and during work activities.
- Coordinate with contractors to ensure project success with zero injuries and adherence to the schedule.
- Utilize additional resources such as environmental teams, safety teams, subject matter experts, and land agents to support project needs.
Essential Skills
Strong construction management experience, particularly in transmission line projects.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to read and understand complex contract documents and safety plans.Proficiency in data collection and reporting.Knowledge of QA / QC processes.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with environmental management and safety protocols.Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of experts.Experience with project management software and tools.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00 / hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Albuquerque, NM.
