Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m. (one-hour lunch)

Overview of the Utility Account Representative :
Phone Support : Answer an average of 50 incoming calls per day across multiple phone lines, assisting customers with questions regarding balances, payments, and service status. Learn the billing and account systems to respond accurately and help prevent service disconnections. Participate in hands-on training using dual headsets to learn common inquiries and system navigation.Applications : Review and process applications for new service setup, service transfers, and disconnections. Learn proper documentation procedures and ensure applications are complete and accurate.Account & Billing Support : Review disconnect lists, process extensions, and communicate payment policies. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and understanding of account balances and due dates.In-Person Customer Service : Greet walk-in customers and assist with new accounts, disconnections, or billing questions. Provide professional, empathetic support while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.Administrative & Clerical Duties : Perform scanning, filing, and account maintenance tasks to ensure all documents are accurately saved to customer records.Cash Handling (Future Responsibility) : After extended training and City approval, may assist with counting and reconciling cash drawers for in-person payments. Accuracy and accountability are essential.Preferred Qualifications for the Utility Account Representative :
