The Practice Manager I plays a crucial role in the efficient and effective operation of medical practices. This position involves overseeing day-to-day operations, staff management, financial administration, and strategic planning to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and a positive patient experience.
What you will do :
Overseeing the daily operations of medical practices, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.Recruiting, training, and supervising practice staff, including medical assistants, administrative personnel, and support staff.Managing the practice's financial aspects, including budgeting, billing, and revenue cycle management, to ensure financial goals are met.Coordinating patient appointment scheduling, optimizing patient flow and ensuring timely care.Handling patient inquiries and concerns, addressing issues and maintaining a high standard of patient satisfaction.Implementing and monitoring quality assurance and compliance measures, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations and best practices.Developing and implementing strategies to enhance practice performance, patient access, and growth opportunities.Ensuring the effective use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology for efficient patient care and record-keeping.Managing inventory levels and supplies within the practice, ensuring they are adequately stocked and well-maintained.Preparing and presenting reports on practice performance, including financial, operational, and patient care metrics.What you will need :
A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred. Three to five years of previous psychiatric practice management experience preferred. Working knowledge of behavioral health related ICD9 / CPT coding required. Strong organizational skills required.
