Job Summary
The Tuxedo Club is searching for experienced, and customer service-driven Servers / Waitstaff to join our team! The club is in need of full-time, part-time, and banquet servers who want to deliver exceptional member experiences as part of a fun team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Take food and drink orders from tables in your assigned section
- Assist housemen and runners in setting up :
buffets and food stations
Ceremonies and various other dinners and eventsConduct wine and coffee service in proper fashionDirect backwaiters to aid in proper serviceGreet Members and Guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner, bringing hospitality to every interactionRead, understand and execute Event OrdersFollow checklists and Standard Operating ProceduresPerform opening, mid-shift, and closing duties complying with Tuxedo Club's Events' operational standardsAdhere to company uniform and grooming standards at all timesComply with all NYS Health and Safety codes with regards to Food and BeveragePerform any related duties as requested by the supervisor / managerAssist other departmental staff members when neededThis job description in no way states or implies that this position is limited to the aforementioned duties. Qualifications
1 year experience as a server / waitstaffKnowledge of POS systems (JONAS) preferredBasic knowledge of DOH regulationsTeam player with positive attitude and excellent communication skills with attention to detailMust be able to stand for long periods of timeEnergetic and professionalPossesses a passion for exceeding member expectations with a commitment to excellence that results in providing the highest quality member and guest experienceCompensation and Benefits
