Boeing Test & Evaluation is hiring a Lab Test Technical Designer to join the Systems Laboratory Test Design / Build team in Tukwila, WA. The team develops and maintains engineering product definitions for laboratory test requirements and instrumentation of commercial and military programs. Responsibilities include designing layouts, modifying existing designs, developing statements of work, coordinating work transfer packages, and integrating product definitions across partners to produce a functional end-product. The role involves investigating and resolving manufacturing or engineering issues, and verifying data accuracy.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic lab environment across various programs, supporting the engineering and manufacturing of company products. Tasks include fabricating and testing electrical / electronic assemblies, developing engineering definitions with CAD software, drafting instructions, creating tool designs, analyzing manufacturing data, repairing facilities equipment, designing tests, and providing technical support and training.
