Brokerage Retail Equity Trader

Job Position

This is an in-office position. Location options are Richmond, Virginia; Charlotte, North Carolina; Atlanta, Georgia. Provide high touch equity and options order handling services to Wealth Brokerage and Advisory clients. Communicate directly with the front office on liquidity sourcing and execution strategies; best execution and superior service are the highest priorities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

• Handle firm "high touch" equity and options order flow in a professional manner, consistent with principles of best execution.
• Consult with the front office on portfolio and execution strategies.
• Provide assistance to the front office with order entry and trade problems as needed.
• Work directly with internal service partners to proactively address and correct issues that arise.
• Recommend enhancements and process improvements by staying current with changes in the marketplace, new products and services, and regulatory changes.
• Assist leadership with ad hoc business activities as required.

Preferred Qualifications : Five years (5) of related experience
