The mission of this role is to elevate awareness and adoption of Visteon’s product portfolio by driving strategic product marketing initiatives aligned with company objectives. This leader will shape and communicate compelling product narratives that resonate with target audiences / customers, leveraging deep technical understanding and market insights. A key focus will be early customer engagement to validate product‑market fit, inform roadmap decisions, and accelerate go‑to‑market success.

The Product Marketing leader will collaborate internally to create compelling messaging that highlights market differentiation, boosts brand visibility and engages both external audiences and internal teams.

Key Objectives of the Role

Create Product Line Messaging and Positioning Aligned to Company Strategy

Collaborate with Product Line leaders to translate technical capabilities into differentiated value propositions, customer‑centric messaging, and proof points.

Establish governance to ensure messaging is developed in parallel with product ideation and early‑stage customer validation.

Ensure messaging supports buyer personas, use cases, and competitive positioning.

Early Customer Engagement & Market Validation

Partner with sales and product teams to engage early adopters and strategic customers during product development.

Gather feedback to refine messaging, inform roadmap prioritization, and identify market opportunities.

Develop customer‑facing materials for pilot programs, beta launches, and early demos.

Content Strategy and Asset Development

Create high‑impact marketing assets including product briefs, solution overviews, presentations, case studies, and whitepapers.

Oversee digital content creation for web, social, and campaign channels to support product launches and awareness.

Ensure content is tailored to different stages of the buyer journey.

Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis

Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.

Technical competitive benchmarking.

Translate insights into actionable recommendations for messaging, positioning, and go‑to‑market strategy.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Align with product management, engineering, sales, and communications to ensure unified product storytelling.

Support internal enablement through training materials and messaging guides.

Key Performance Indicators

Effectiveness of product datasheets in terms of usability, accuracy, and driving customer interest (e.g., conversion or engagement rates from early customer programs).

Strategic account growth through tailored product messaging.

Industry positioning and thought leadership : Presence in industry reports (e.g., Gartner, IHS Markit).

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in electrical, software, or hardware engineering or related field.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering and / or technical product marketing of Automotive Display, Cockpit, Infotainment or other embedded chip automotive products.

Experience working with internal communications to link product stories to company messages. Experience in automotive cockpit is a plus.

Exceptional communication, presentation, project management, and analytical skills.

Ability to understand, beyond surface level, the technical aspects of Visteon’s products to create higher‑level product messaging.

Ability to translate technical details into compelling and consumable product messaging and stories.

Proven leadership to influence cross‑functional teams and deliver results.
