Responsibilities :

• Oversee daily accounting activities, including the accurate recording of investment transactions.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports for endowment funds, charitable trusts, and supporting foundations, ensuring data integrity and clarity.
• Generate schedules for year-end consolidation and draft footnotes for external audits.
• Assist with the preparation of tax filings, including the organization’s 990 forms.
• Complete tax returns for charitable trusts and supporting foundations, adhering to regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate on special projects and additional tasks as assigned to support organizational goals.
• Familiarity with accounting practices for nonprofit organizations.
• Proficiency in managing general ledger activities and ensuring accuracy.
• Experience or knowledge in corporate tax compliance.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
