Reports to : Vice President of Marketing & Communications

Salary : $91,000 - $103,000 per year

Location : Remote (Must be based in the U.S.)

The School for International Training (SIT) is a higher education institution specializing in international education with learning centers located worldwide. SIT offers study abroad programs for private, public, and Ivy League universities across the U.S., as well as master's and doctoral degrees and certificates. The Senior Paid Media Manager will be responsible for leading paid media campaigns across various channels and contributing to the overall digital marketing strategy for SIT.

This position requires an experienced, versatile, and reliable self-starter with exceptional digital and communication skills who stays consistently up to date with industry trends in paid media and marketing. The successful candidate will join a high-performing team of marketing and communications professionals, as well as cross-channel digital specialists. They will collaborate with a range of project stakeholders and other teams across SIT to deliver best-in-class digital campaigns.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demonstrate expert proficiency in several paid media channels.
  • Serve as the day-to-day paid media campaign planning and activation lead across all SIT programs.
  • Manage activities, including campaign setup, launch, ongoing optimization, and reporting across accounts.
  • Maintain responsibility for campaigns' running on time and within budget with minimal supervision.
  • Build paid media plans in support of projects and campaign strategy with minimal supervision; be able to develop a rough draft of plans (for channels, targeting, budgets, etc.) in alignment with goals.
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in data analysis and be responsible for shaping the performance of paid campaigns and for working with teams to set and revise strategy, as needed.
  • Explain and present paid campaign plans, status, and / or performance to internal and external teams.
  • Utilize data to help inform digital marketing initiatives and consistently improve lead generation.
  • Support functional area (team) growth and development (g., process improvements, training).
  • Manage third-party lead collection tool for ad landing pages and integrate and monitor created pages for optimal lead generation.
  • Conduct audience, keyword, and basic competitor research for digital advertising campaigns.
  • Research and recommend campaign types and advertising technologies to enhance digital marketing initiatives.
  • Track and report paid media budget and expenses.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least five years of "hands-on-keyboard" experience setting up and managing paid media campaigns.
  • Full proficiency with Google Ads and Facebook / Meta Ads Manager, Twitter / X Ads Manager, and YouTube.
  • Full proficiency with Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager is required. Experience with other platforms such as LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), and programmatic DSPs is a strong plus.
  • Full proficiency in analyzing paid media traffic in Google Analytics.
  • Excellent quantitative analytical skills and the ability to utilize Microsoft Excel to effectively analyze data from digital marketing platforms, enabling informed decision-making; a desire to expand into new platforms. Experience managing strategic projects and the ability to understand the big picture.
  • Experience in independently planning and executing paid search and social campaigns that align with broader organizational or marketing strategies is a plus.
  • Experience using Google Tag Manager (GTM) to support tracking implementation is a plus.
  • Proficiency with customer relationship management tools (CRM), such as Salesforce is a plus.
