We are seeking a dedicated and reliable CDL Class B Driver to join our team for a local midnight shift route focused on food waste collection. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and independent individual who wants to be home every night and values a direct-to-vehicle work model.

As a driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection and transportation of food waste from our commercial clients on a pre-assigned local route. Your day will start by reporting directly to the truck's designated parking location, where you will perform a pre-trip inspection and begin your route. You will not be required to report to a central office or warehouse at the beginning or end of your shift. A key part of this independent role is also managing the truck's regular maintenance schedule. You will be responsible for taking the vehicle to our designated service provider for routine maintenance and repairs as needed.

Responsibilities :

Safely and efficiently operate a CDL Class B commercial vehicle.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition.

Empty food waste carts on-site, rinse with a pressure washer, and return them to the client.

Coordinate and schedule vehicle maintenance with our service provider.

Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, including DOT and traffic laws.

Maintain accurate logs and records as required.

Communicate with dispatch as needed regarding any issues or delays.

Operate the vehicle in a safe and courteous manner at all times.

Qualifications :

Valid CDL Class B driver's license.

Clean driving record.

Ability to work a consistent midnight shift.

Must be reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of independence.

Ability to perform physical duties associated with the role, including lifting and maneuvering containers up to 50 lbs.

Familiarity with local Greenville, SC, and surrounding area roads is a plus.
