Role Description

This full-time, on-site position is for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer based in Chino, CA. The role involves performing geotechnical site assessments, evaluating subsurface and soil conditions, and applying advanced geotechnical principles to diverse projects. Key duties include designing foundation systems, preparing technical engineering reports, overseeing field and laboratory testing activities, and offering specialized guidance to clients and project teams. Success in this position requires strong project management skills and close coordination with multidisciplinary staff.

Qualifications

Extensive background in site investigations and soil characterization

Strong proficiency in geotechnical engineering and engineering geology

Skilled in foundation system design and related structural assessments

Exceptional analytical abilities and keen attention to detail

Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline

5 years of direct experience in Southern California.

Geotechnical Engineer (GE) license Must

Professional Engineer (PE) preferred

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate effectively with team members

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions and report development

Familiarity with Southern California's geotechnical and regulatory environment is advantageous
